He is also the grandson of Walter Inglis Anderson a very well known American artist.
Chris was born in 1967 in Ocean Springs Mississippi. He grew up on a tract of land known as Shearwater. This land was purchased by his great grandmother Annette McConnell Anderson. It was Annette's firm intention that her children become artists. It was her husband, George Walter Anderson's intention that they make a living from it. The tradition lives on from generation to generation.
The art you will see on this site is only a small part of Chris' work. He is always seeing new things to capture in one of the many mediums he uses to express his vision.
